Tapestry Weaving on a Natural Frame Loom at Estero Bay Art & Craft

Learn (or refine) your weaving skills in this all-levels class. We’ll work with a variety of fibers and create a warp on our wooden Frame Loom, and then, thread by thread, bring the weft to life. Caroline will speak to the Irish/Celtic traditions of weaving, including those of ‘boundary keeping’ with each thread a means of subtle support and an outstretched hand of kinship for our ancestors.

Foraged & garden grown materials will be available for you to weave into your tapestry, adding a bit of whimsy. These Rustic Tapestries are ideal for hanging in the home and/or adorning an altar space.

Gathering at Estero Bay Art & Craft. Registration opening soon.
