We offer light housekeeping, including assistance with laundry, dishes, light tidying, and grocery pick-up.
In the heart of your home, we offer meal preparation on and nourishment throughout our visit. While stews simmer and tea steeps, we tend to you & your home. Our intention is to leave you feeling nourished and held, refreshed within your postpartum cocoon.

Crafted thoughtfully under the guise of Sadie with your entire system & state in mind. Intended to be gentle, supportive medicine for replenishment and regenerative rhythms.
Herbal remedies can include individualized herbal support and education, herbal postpartum products, herbal recommendations and personalized adjustments to meals, and herbal foot baths and assistance with herbal sitz baths.
You’ll receive 3 handmade, small batch herbal products at your initial visit — a postpartum nourishment tea, breast & bum balm, & herbal sitz bath. A large batch of broth can be prepared in-home with our herbal broth kit.

With student midwife and doula Caroline, write your birth story, integrate your journey, and process all that your pregnancy-birth chapter held. Warming rituals can include herbal foot soaks, yoni steams (as bleeding ceases), sitz baths, full soaks, light bodywork with warming oils, and any ancestral remedies that come through for all parties.

Intended to nourish the breastfeeding dyad — guided lymphatic massage, breastfeeding troubleshooting, and general lactation support can be offered at all visits.
Meet your postpartum care providers
Caroline Smith
Birth & Postpartum Doula, Student MidwifeCaroline trained with Carriage House Birth and began offering in-home Postpartum Doula Care in her early twenties. She is in the midst of her Midwifery Studies, working to become a Licensed Midwife/Certified Professional Midwife.
Caroline believes that postpartum is forever, in-home care is a necessity (not a luxury), and comprehensive postpartum care can lead to improved health outcomes for the entire family.
She brings a gentle ease to her in-home care, a love for kitchen wisdom & medicine, and a quiet steadiness in those early weeks at home after birth.
Community HerbalistSadie krier
Sadie has received training through several holistic health schools including the California School of Herbal Studies and Dhyana Essential’s Clinical Ayurvedic studies. She has been helping community members in their healing journeys for multiple years and is very passionate about women's health. She received specific training in women’s health and postpartum care/birthwork as an herbalist through the schools she attended and the communities she is a part of. She continues to attend different schools and trainings, expanding her knowledge and scope.
Sadie believes that postpartum care is essential in improving the health of our communities as it is the starting point which we all come from. Sadie loves to share herbal support, healing foods, restful practices, and other forms of deeply nourishing care with families postpartum.
