Meet your postpartum care providers

Caroline Smith

Birth & Postpartum Doula, Student Midwife

Caroline trained with Carriage House Birth and began offering in-home Postpartum Doula Care in her early twenties. She is in the midst of her Midwifery Studies, working to become a Licensed Midwife/Certified Professional Midwife.

Caroline believes that postpartum is forever, in-home care is a necessity (not a luxury), and comprehensive postpartum care can lead to improved health outcomes for the entire family.

She brings a gentle ease to her in-home care, a love for kitchen wisdom & medicine, and a quiet steadiness in those early weeks at home after birth.

Community Herbalist

Sadie krier

Sadie has received training through several holistic health schools including the California School of Herbal Studies and Dhyana Essential’s Clinical Ayurvedic studies. She has been helping community members in their healing journeys for multiple years and is very passionate about women's health. She received specific training in women’s health and postpartum care/birthwork as an herbalist through the schools she attended and the communities she is a part of. She continues to attend different schools and trainings, expanding her knowledge and scope.

Sadie believes that postpartum care is essential in improving the health of our communities as it is the starting point which we all come from. Sadie loves to share herbal support, healing foods, restful practices, and other forms of deeply nourishing care with families postpartum.
